9 | You're a cute, bouncy rubber pig, caught in some |

10 | weird toy world in a parallel universe. As always, |

11 | the only way out is through. Or at least, that's |

12 | your best bet, as you can't seem to figure out any |

13 | other way - and you probably don't want to be a toy |

14 | rubber pig for the rest of your life. (How long do |

15 | toy rubber pigs live, anyway?) |

16 | So, off you go, to run, jump and stomp your way |

17 | through this strange looking toy world. Hopefully, |

18 | you will find a portal back to your universe or |
||
19 | something eventually. |

20 | Or maybe you'll just wake up, have a big cup of |

21 | black coffee, and realize that the layer of toys |

22 | covering the floor reminds a great deal of |

23 | something you dreamt. |

31 | Well, Fixed Rate Pig is just another retro style |

32 | platform game, inspired by the 8 bit generation. |

33 | Controls are very simple: Left and right arrows to |
||
34 | move left/right, and the up arrow to jump. |
||
35 | The enemies are the evil looking spinning heads. |
||
36 | Some bounce around, just to be a bit more annoying. |

37 | Jump and stomp'em all in the head! When all enemies |
||
38 | are gone, the level is clear. |
||
39 | Jumping when stomping an enemy gives you an |
||
40 | extra high jump from the point of impact. Note that |
||
41 | you get knocked if you're hit by an enemy while |
||
42 | standing or walking on a platform - even if the |
||
43 | enemy hits you from below. You need to be falling |
||
44 | downwards with some speed to stomp someone. |
||
45 | Watch out for the holes in the floor! Falling |
||
46 | off the map means you lose one life. Avoid running |
||
47 | into enemies or getting stomped, as that knocks you |
||
48 | out and has you falling past platforms for a brief |
||
49 | moment. That's actually no big deal - provided you |
||
50 | wake up before you fall off the screen... |
||
51 | At certain score intervals, powerups icons are |
||
52 | dropped into the level. Pick these up before they |
||
53 | fall off the screen! (No need to stomp them.) |
